Beauty and Bodywork at Hever Health

Beauty and Bodywork at Hever Health

Skin health, deep tissue recovery, nervous system release and lymphatic function: our beauty and bodywork treatments address all of these through disciplines that go considerably further than standard therapy. Each treatment is delivered by a specialist with significant experience in their chosen approach, using professional-grade products and techniques that produce results a general session rarely achieves.

Facials

Skin reflects what is happening beneath the surface: circulation, lymphatic drainage, cellular waste clearance and the effects of stress on the systems that regulate all of these. Our facial treatments address the skin from both directions simultaneously.

Kim Wimble delivers bespoke aromatherapy facials using the Naturally Thinking natural skincare range, with essential oil blends selected and tailored to your skin’s specific needs at each appointment. Catherine Davidson offers Neal’s Yard organic facials, combining certified organic botanical skincare with skilled facial massage to improve tone, clarity and condition.

Facials at Hever Health are available with both practitioners. Please contact us for details of eyebrow and lash treatments also offered by Catherine.

Aromatherapy and Hot Stone Massage

Warmth unlocks the body in a way that hands alone cannot always achieve. Our aromatherapy and hot stone sessions combine the deep, penetrating heat of basalt stones with the mood-elevating, physiologically active compounds of essential oils. The result is a treatment that works simultaneously on muscular tension, circulation, the nervous system and emotional state.

Aromatherapy and hot stone massage is for anyone who wants a treatment that goes deeper than a standard massage and leaves them feeling genuinely restored.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping uses controlled negative pressure to lift and separate the layers of soft tissue, improving local circulation, releasing myofascial restriction and accelerating the removal of metabolic waste from fatigued or injured muscle. It has a long history of traditional use and a growing body of evidence supporting its effectiveness in a clinical context.

Cupping therapy works well alongside massage and sports therapy and is particularly effective for stubborn muscular tension and sports recovery.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is fundamental to immune function, fluid balance and the removal of cellular waste. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) uses gentle, rhythmic techniques to stimulate lymphatic flow and restore the system to proper function. Catherine Davidson is our MLD specialist, holding ITEC and FHT accreditations.

Lymphatic drainage is valuable for post-surgical recovery, oedema management, immune support and as part of a broader detoxification and skin health protocol.

Where Beauty and Bodywork Fits

Our treatments work well alongside the physical and holistic therapies at Hever Health. Many patients find that combining beauty and bodywork with osteopathy or reflexology accelerates results that either therapy produces more slowly on its own.
