Every practitioner at Hever Health was chosen for the same reason: they are genuinely excellent at what they do. Qualified, experienced and committed to treating the whole person rather than the presenting symptom, our team brings together clinical expertise and holistic insight under one roof.
Between them our practitioners cover the full range of physical, nutritional and emotional health. Paul Moody DO and Connor Reid M.Ost lead our physical therapy offering as registered osteopaths, with Connor also specialising in sports therapy and soft tissue work. Claire Ward BSc (Hons) brings nearly two decades of clinical nutrition experience across elite sport, corporate wellness and private practice. Anne Bila works across reiki, NLP counselling and life coaching with a background that spans management consulting and holistic health. Kim Wimble specialises in reflexology, aromatherapy and hot stone massage. Catherine Davidson brings 20 years of experience in holistic massage, manual lymphatic drainage and beauty therapy. Peter van Minnen is one of the most experienced body stress release practitioners in the United Kingdom.
When your recovery would benefit from more than one discipline, our team works together to ensure your care is co-ordinated. Many patients move between osteopathy, clinical nutrition and holistic therapies as their health evolves. Contact us if you are unsure where to begin.

Body Stress Release
Peter van Minnen Registered Body Stress Release Practitioner
Peter qualified at the Body Stress Release Academy in South Africa in 1992 and has been practising BSR for over 27 years, based in Westerham since 1993. His own 15-year back problem, cleared entirely through BSR, drew him into the discipline.
Peter van Minnen
Published Writing
.Peter writes regularly on Body Stress Release, chronic pain, and the nervous system. His articles are rooted in clinical practice and aimed at patients who want to understand the mechanism behind their symptoms, not just the name of their condition.
His condition-led articles cover the presentations he sees most often in practice. Patients dealing with persistent sciatic symptoms will find his reasoning in sciatica that won’t resolve. The cervicogenic pattern behind recurring headaches is examined in chronic neck pain and tension headaches. Road traffic accident survivors whose pain has not resolved will find a direct account in whiplash recovery and pain after a car accident. The multi-level compression that produces nerve pain in the leg is mapped in full. The neurological cycle behind why the same injury keeps recurring explains why structural recovery is not always sufficient. The physiological link between panic attacks and physical tension is addressed with clinical precision. The case for a gentle approach in fibromyalgia and stored tension reflects Peter’s extensive experience with sensitised presentations. The most common source of diagnostic frustration is tackled in low back pain with no disc problem. And the compounding relationship between fatigue and stored tension is explored in always tired and in pain.
His educational articles explain the therapy itself: what is body stress, how the nervous system stores physical trauma, the body stress release assessment, how many BSR sessions a patient typically needs, and what body stress release feels like for those who have not experienced it before.
His chronic pain series addresses the neurological science behind persistent pain: chronic pain and the nervous system, acute vs chronic pain, what is central sensitisation, stored trauma in the body, why stress makes pain worse, and can you heal from chronic pain.
His work with animals is documented in body stress release for animals and BSR for horses and dogs, drawing on 53 equine case histories compiled in his 2009 book Horses Have Wings.
Working Together
Our practitioners work as a team, not as a collection of independent therapists sharing a space. If your recovery would benefit from more than one discipline, we will tell you, and we will help you find the right combination. Many of our patients move between osteopathy, clinical nutrition and holistic therapies as their health evolves, building a relationship with the clinic rather than a single appointment with a single practitioner.
If you are unsure where to start, contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
