Facial Treatments at Hever Health

Facial Treatments at Hever Health

Skin health is not only a surface concern. It reflects what is happening in the tissue beneath: the quality of local circulation, the efficiency of cellular waste clearance, the inflammatory state of the underlying environment and the effects of stress on the systems that regulate all of these. A facial that addresses only the surface produces a surface result. Our facial treatments go deeper.

At Hever Health we offer two distinct facial experiences, each delivered by a specialist with extensive experience in their chosen approach and products.

Bespoke Aromatherapy Facials with Kim Wimble

Kim Wimble holds a BTEC Level 4 qualification and is a Member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists (MGHT). Her bespoke aromatherapy facials are built around the Naturally Thinking natural skincare range and tailored entirely to your skin’s specific needs and condition at the time of your appointment.

The treatment combines skilled facial massage techniques with professionally selected essential oil blends chosen for their therapeutic activity on the skin and the nervous system simultaneously. Essential oils are not simply pleasant scents in this context: they are bioactive compounds that interact with the skin and, through the olfactory pathway, with the limbic system and the autonomic nervous system. The result is a treatment that addresses skin quality and emotional state in the same session.

Kim’s aromatherapy facials work well for stressed, congested or dull skin, for skin that has lost vitality due to fatigue or hormonal change, and for anyone who wants a restorative treatment that leaves both the skin and the mind genuinely renewed.

Kim can also incorporate facial massage techniques that support lymphatic drainage in the superficial tissues of the face and neck, improving local circulation and supporting the cellular clearance that determines skin clarity over time.

Neal’s Yard Organic Facials with Catherine Davidson

Catherine Davidson has 20 years of experience in holistic beauty therapy and holds ITEC and FHT accreditations. Her facial treatments use the Neal’s Yard Remedies organic skincare range: a certified organic collection with a strong evidence base for the efficacy of its botanical ingredients and a rigorous commitment to purity that makes it suitable for even sensitive skin.

Catherine’s approach to facial treatment reflects her broader philosophy: she focuses first on calming the nervous system and creating the conditions in which the skin can genuinely respond to treatment. When the body is relaxed and the circulatory and lymphatic systems are supported, the active ingredients in the products she uses can do their work more effectively.

Her Neal’s Yard facials are adapted to skin type and concern, addressing dryness, congestion, sensitivity, loss of tone and the effects of environmental stress and ageing. The treatment includes cleansing, exfoliation, mask application and facial massage, using products selected to match your skin’s specific needs on the day.

Catherine also offers eyebrow and lash treatments alongside her facial work. Please contact us for details and availability.

A Facial in the Right Setting

Both treatments are delivered in private, comfortable treatment rooms within our clinic at Hever Castle. The tranquillity of the setting is part of what makes the experience restorative rather than merely pleasant: the nervous system settles in an environment that is genuinely calm, and skin that is treated in a relaxed physiological state responds more fully than skin treated while the stress response is active.

For patients whose skin concerns have a nutritional or hormonal dimension, clinical nutrition with Claire Ward addresses the internal environment that facial treatment works alongside. For those whose skin reflects the effects of poor lymphatic clearance, manual lymphatic drainage with Catherine provides the deeper drainage support that a facial alone cannot fully deliver.
